Why Free?

We want you to easily watch and share worldwide.
No e-mail or payment required.
The film was made with a communal/volunteer spirit, and it made sense to distribute it the same way.
We can't afford marketing, and you probably wouldn't buy a film you haven't heard much about, but we're hoping you might watch for free and donate to a film you enjoy.
Most films get pirated anyway, but we wanted to make sure you know our story to decide if our efforts are worth your dollars.

We can't afford the $1,595 fee required to post on Netflix/Hulu/iTunes/etc. via services like Distribber.com.
Major distributors did not want to take a chance on Missing Pieces.
Small distributors offered unfair/fishy contracts.

In an ideal world, we would like to get out of debt and start another film, but if this is the only movie we make and all that happens with it is that it reaches the people it was made for, that's enough.
